Looking to get involved?  Well, there is no better way than to be part of a ministry.  Ministries can take place in the church, with a Home Group, with a group of people that you do not know etc.  As long as you are volunteering to help, you are providing a ministry to others.  One way you can get involved is to help out in the Youth and Children’s Ministry.  They are always looking for extra helping hands to help out with activities and childcare.  The volunteers working with children and youth do go through a screening process, but don’t let that stop you, as you will end up missing out on the fun.  A couple of big ministry outreaches that CYM (Children & Youth Ministry) are getting ready for are Vacation Bible School and the Youth Mission Trips.  If you would like to get involved in any of these events contact Julie Nipp or Erica Ares. There is also a brief meeting coming up for those that are interested in volunteering for VBS on Tuesday, April 17th at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall.  This year’s theme is “Avalanche Ranche” – A Wild Ride through God’s Word.  Some of the positions that need to be filled are crew leaders, people for registration on the first day, people to work the food, crafts, and so forth.  So, come on….take a risk, try something new and let’s win some hearts for God with this ministry.
